NYC New York Color

The second item I'll be reviewing from my Holiday Voxbox is New York Color Liquid Lip Shine. For more information on what a Voxbox is, please visit http://www.influenster.com.com

The color I received is Nude York City. It's a beautiful color, and it looks gorgeous on. You can see what it looks like on me in the picture above (upper left corner). The shine it gives off is amazing. It looks like it has tiny pieces of glitter throughout it, but there isn't a gritty feeling all over your lips. It doesn't stay super shiny for a long time, but it does keep some shine and it's actually moisturizing (a surprise to me! I had doubts). It's a little tacky, but it's not very sticky, AND it smells pretty amazing. The only complaint I have is the applicator, and that's just because I dislike how flexible it is.

NYC Liquid Lipshine comes in TEN different shades! Oh, and did I mention the suggested retail price is only $2.49?? This product is DEFINITELY worth checking out! I plan on picking up a few shades, if not all of them (I certainly could since they're not pricey at all!).

*From Influenster.com "Straight from the city that never sleeps, NYC New York Color offers products with uptown style at down-to-earth prices, from $.99 - $4.99. The energy, style and color of New York City shines through the wide range of shades, textures and innovative products. NYC always delivers the most on-trend products & shades hot off the runway!

A beauty-editor favorite is Liquid Lipshine ($2.49). It has pure pigments that created a 3-D gloss effect. Vitamin E provides shine and a moisturizing feel. The formula is non-sticky, super shiny & soft. Available in 10 on-trend shades from neutral nudes, to berries & fuchsias. Start shopping for NYC at these stores nearest you: Walmart, Target, Rite Aid, CVS, Family Dollar, Duane Reade, Kmart, HEB, and others. "

Larabar!

One of the items I received in my Holiday Voxbox from Influenster was a Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Larabar. If you have no idea what Influenster is, you can check out my previous post OR click the following link for more information: http://www.influenster.com.

When I was reading about this product, I was excited to try it. There are only 2-9 ingredients in each bar, and they're just fruits, spices, and nuts! Not only are they made with natural ingredients, but there are also 19 different flavors to choose from! The only downside there seems to be is the fact that every flavor seems to be made with dates. For more information and to view all flavors available, please visit their website, http://www.larabar.com.

Now, I can't say that I had the best flavor experience with my Larabar, but I'm partially blaming that on the fact that I'm not a huge peanut/ peanut butter fan. The bar wasn't that bad, but I probably won't be eating the peanut butter chocolate chip kind again. The weird aftertaste didn't help it any, either. However, I WILL be purchasing more Larabars in the very near future! There are so many yummy sounding kinds that I'm dying to try, like Key Lime Pie, Banana Bread, and Blueberry Muffin.

I strongly suggest checking out their website! It's easy to navigate and you're greeted by some super cute penguins! Not only that, but they have a sweepstakes going on that I'm sure you'd love to enter! :)

Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes & Baby Lips

Before I continue on with this post, I must inform you that I am a BzzAgent and have been sent these products (for free) to try out and review. For more information, please visit http://www.bzzagent.com

Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara $6.40

I really don't have many negative things to say about this mascara! First of all, the packaging is adorable. I love how the bristles on the brush get smaller towards the top, but I feel there should be more longer ones and less shorter ones. However, it really works well just the way it is!

I love the way my lashes look with Lots of Lashes. They're a little spacey, but they're suuuuuper long. I'm loving them. The picture above is just a light coating of the mascara, and it looks so lovely. I keep looking at my lashes just because I love how they look. I haven't had a problem with flaking, either. It's amazing that you get such a great product for such a low price!

If I were to rate this product on a scale of 1-5, I would have it give it a 4 - 4.5. It's a great mascara, but I have used better. I can't say it'll replace my favorite mascara, but I will definitely be purchasing this product in the future.

Maybelline Baby Lips $3.99

Packaging: I do not like the packaging at all. I think the colors are cute, but I dislike how it seems more geared towards children. I get that it's kind of supposed to be like that, but I think it could have been done in a better way. Also, the packaging is CHEAP and cracks easily. Our new kitten got hold of the cherry one and completely destroyed it by smacking it around some. I didn't mind, however, since I hated it.

Product: All of the "flavor" ones smell amazing! They seem to wear off pretty quickly, but leave my lips feeling semi moisturized. However, they taste like cheap lipstick and that seems to be the only smell/taste that sticks around.

On a scale of 1-5, I would probably rate this product 1.5 - 2. I will not be purchasing this product in the future and I am glad I didn't have to waste my own money on it. If you absolutely have to try this product out, I would suggest getting Quenched or Peppermint.
